Travel & Accommodations

At An Oasis of Healing, we want to make your transition to our center as stress free and as easy as possible.  We are available to discuss any of the information below and to answer any questions you may have. 

Travel from Out of State

Air: The nearest commercial airport to An Oasis of Healing is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Most major airlines service this airport. The airport is located approximately 20 minutes from the Center.

Mesa Gateway, a smaller airport, does offer flights through Allegiant, Frontier and Sun Country, if any of these airlines fly to your area. Their rates are usually less but they do have more restrictions regarding carry-on and checked luggage.

Free flights can be arranged through Angel Flight, depending on your location, but the majority of the time your distance from Phoenix must be under 300 miles. This option does require a lot of extra time to coordinate and flexibility is helpful when utilizing this option.  We can assist with the paperwork necessary to make these arrangements.

Ground: Enterprise Rent-A-Car offers a special discount rate for you as our patient. Once your length of stay has been determined, we can provide you with all the information needed to make your reservation.

*** Please Note: This preferred rate cannot be used for cars picked up from the airport.  It requires getting transportation to their location in Mesa and picking up the car there.  If you are interested, we can provide you with further information.

Accommodations

An Oasis of Healing provides services as an out-patient healing center. We are not an in-patient hospital, so rooms are not provided as part of our program. However, we do provide on call services with our nurses after business hours and weekends. 

We have a list of accommodations with landlords that we have used for years that are familiar with our patients’ needs.  We will provide this extensive list when you schedule your start date for the program.

Some of the options for housing available in the area include:

• Furnished apartments and condos
• Long-term stay hotels
• Short-term lodging programs/options are also available through the American Cancer Society
