Sesame Super Bean Salad

Summer is here so what better way to welcome it than with a delicious sesame super bean salad!

Hi, Ashley Grimmel here, the Oasis Of Healing Nutritionist and Health Educator and with summer temperatures soaring here in AZ I’m sure you’re ready for some quick and cool recipes. This recipe can be made with the usual green beans or you can boost up the phytonutrients by tossing in some vibrant purple, yellow, or dragon wax beans.

Sesame Super Bean Salad:

2 Cups Green (Or any color) Beans “snapped” or cut into ½ inch segments.
2 TBS Hemp Seeds
1 TBS Flax Seeds
1 TSP Sesame Oil
1 TBS UDO’s Oil or Flax Oil
¼ cup Chopped Macadamia nuts or Brazil nuts.
1 handful of rinsed and chopped kelp noodles.

Salt Pepper and Cayenne to Taste

Optional: 1/2 TBS Apple Cider Vinegar (this will help to soften the beans the longer they chill)

Combine all ingredients except nuts and store in refrigerator to chill until ready to enjoy. Toss in nuts and serve. Thats it!

Alternatively, this can be popped in the dehydrator and warmed at 110 degrees for about 35 min. Enjoy.

We hope these recipes and ideas for easy and nutritous meals inspire you to continue to not only use what we send you but to experiment on your own and create your own healthy and vibrant meals to share with your friends and family.

Healthy food can be delicious and nutrient dense food all at the same time, it doesn’t have to be boring. Get as creative as you like and have fun with it, prepare your food with love and laughter and thrive!

An Oasis Of Healing strives to provide the ultimate care for a person visiting us at our healing center, however, what we think is just as important and what we teach you when you are here, is that a person leaves here knowing exactly what to do at home. It is imperitive that people embrace what they were taught here and take that home with them and continue on with it.

Going back to the same habits that lead you to our center is not a recipe for long term health. If you have any questions, please reach out to us, we are here to help!
