Tess Jensen, LNA, MA

Two years ago, my husband passed away after undergoing treatment for cancer.   After that experience, I decided I wanted to dedicate my time working in holistic cancer care.  I’ve learned the benefits of this approach which is a combination of the wellness of the mind, body, as well as spirit, which is all needed to promote healing, whether it is for prevention or health maintenance.

I have been in the medical field for over twelve years working in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and the USA.  For the last eight years since becoming an MA, I have received advanced training in IV Therapy and specialized experience in multiple areas while working in the ER, ICU, operating room, PACU, Med Surg and Telemetry, as well as oncology.

My greatest love is helping people.  It’s my way of trying to add some goodness to the world.  An important lesson I’ve learned in my life and through working in the medical field is to value every day of life.  What gives my life meaning is the time I spend with our patients and how I can touch their lives and help them feel better.
