Rebecca Jose, RN, BSN
In 2002, I graduated from Paramedic school and worked for a rural ambulance service. Working outdoors during the cold winters in ND became intolerable, so I started working in an Emergency Room. There I realized nursing would be a better fit for me.
I graduated with my BSN in 2008 from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. Over the last 12 years, I have accumulated a wealth of experience working in the ER, ICU, Hospice, Oncology and surgical services.
I’m excited to be a part of the Oasis Care Team as I feel this is where my professional experience and personal beliefs align. I have a passion for life and all the beauty that can be found even in the darkest of moments. I believe healing is a collaborative approach between a patient and their healthcare providers. I’m passionate about educating and empowering individuals to take control of their wellbeing; spiritually, physically and emotionally.
Most of all, I love learning about each person’s individual experiences and hearing the knowledge they have gained along their journey. After all, it is the people that I have cared for that have had the greatest impact on my own wellness journey and my views of what it means to be a living being, not the knowledge I’ve gained through books.
In my free time, I enjoy a wide range of activities, mainly flying. I have my private pilot license. I am an avid skydiver with 3 world records under my belt. I enjoy paragliding, speed flying and base jumping. I also enjoy hiking, climbing, yoga, paddle boarding, snowboarding, camping, traveling and basically anything that gets me outside and out of my comfort zone.
