Jessica Whipple, RN, CCRN

I was lucky enough to be raised by a mother who was very into alternative healing methods and the diet-disease connection.  Because of this I have always been fascinated by the human body and decided to go into nursing.

I got my RN license here in Phoenix and fortunately landed a new grad position in the ICU.  I received my CCRN (a National Certification for Critical Care Nurses) soon after and spent the following 5 years in various ICU positions including trauma, neuro, cardiac and transplant units.

I was often discouraged by the western model of medicine but didn’t think the field of naturopathy utilized many nurses.  I was elated to find An Oasis of Healing and love the mind-body-spirit approach here.  The care at An Oasis of Healing is always evolving and the patients are more like family.

Outside of work I have a Mastiff and a Great Dane who I basically revolve my life around.  I enjoy reading books on diet, longevity and self-improvement.  I also participate in animal rights activism and take ballet for fun.
