My personal philosophy and aim is to lead a life of balance. The old Greeks and Hippocrates, the Father of Modern Medicine, said it: “Nothing in excess, take the middle path and everything in its right measure.” I believe that the purpose of any healer, any doctor, is to teach that, “we heal ourselves through the way we live our lives every day”.

I absolutely love to learn which has led to complete many years of schooling. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing through Chamberlain College of Nursing. Beginning in 2012, I worked in a variety of settings which included home health, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and primary care offices. Along the way I have specialized in cardiac and critical care, particularly within the environment of the ICU. During this time, I also went on to obtain my Family Nurse Practitioner license.

I was lucky enough to be raised by a mother who was very into alternative healing methods and the diet-disease connection. Because of this I have always been fascinated by the human body and decided to go into nursing.

Two years ago, my husband passed away after undergoing treatment for cancer. After that experience, I decided I wanted to dedicate my time working in holistic cancer care. I’ve learned the benefits of this approach which is a combination of the wellness of the mind, body, as well as spirit, which is all needed to promote healing, whether it is for prevention or health maintenance.
