Tamara Webster, DTN, CHHP Patient Care Coordinator
I grew up hugging trees, catching frogs, and building forts in the woods near my home in Northern California. A lover of nature and natural medicine, I have training in conservation, permaculture design, aquaponics, ethnobotanical gardening, and Western herbalism.
My training includes a Doctorate in Traditional Naturopathic Medicine from Rockwell School of Functional & Holistic Medicine; Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and Certified Organic Skincare Specialist from Northwest School of Holistic Healing; Certified Herbalist from Green Path Herb School and Huckleberry Mountain Botanicals School of Herbalism.
My plan is to continue my education to obtain a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition and a Doctorate in Clinical Herbalism. My interests lie in preventative wellness, lifestyle medicine, psychedelic medicine, light, sound, and energy medicine, and oxygen and bio-oxidative therapies.
Previously, in my private practice I educated clients on the use of whole foods for proper nutrition, prayer and meditation techniques, holistic lifestyle changes, and the use of herbal medicines and natural protocols including aromatherapy, homeopathy, supplements, organic nutrition, and nature therapy for whole body well-being.
I believe optimal health is the primary goal of holistic medicine. It is the conscious pursuit of the highest level of functioning and balance of the physical, environmental, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of human experience, resulting in a dynamic state of being fully alive. This creates a condition of well-being regardless of the presence or absence of disease.
This is a shared philosophy that led me to An Oasis of Healing where I am a Patient Care Coordinator and my belief in divine intervention has provided me with the opportunity to work with an amazing group of patients and kind, caring, talented staff.
