Michaela Dolezal, RN, BSN

IV Nurse

In 2016, I graduated from University of Nebraska Medical Center with my BSN. From there, I went on to work at a Long Term Acute Care Rehabilitation Hospital for 5 years. I played a vital role in helping patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, respiratory failure, among several other debilitating conditions/diseases recover to their full potential after such life-altering diagnoses.

Alia Al-Alawi, RN, BSN

IV Nurse

In 2016, I graduated from Northern Arizona University with my BSN. I spent my first two years as a nurse working on a Med-Surg Telemetry Unit. It was while working there that I began to research alternative ways of healing including Lifestyle Medicine and Trauma Informed Care. This led me to Costa Rica in 2020, where I spent 10 months learning about the mind, body, soul connection and its direct effect on our health.

Rebecca Bartels, RN

Hyperthermia Nurse

I have always had a passion for caring for people. Both my grandmas were nurses and I decided at a young age I wanted to work in healthcare.

In 2003, I became a CNA working in long term care facilities then a PCT in float pool while attending nursing school. I graduated nursing school in 2008. I specialized in critical care and cardiac ICU.

Maya Pomatto, BA

Dana Gagnier, LC, CCHt

Counselor

I am formally trained in intuitive healing techniques and have much experience in facilitating conscious breathwork, sound healing, and cranial sacral practices. My transformational psychology, and business management degrees are enhanced by my certification as a life coach as well as my clinical certification as a hypnotherapist.

Darren Scherbain, B.A.

Kinesiology Movement Specialist

Growing up in Canada, with a hockey stick in my hand, I loved to spend hours on the rink in freezing temperatures. Summers were spent working out on the farm, at camp, or getting my bike dirty. From an early age, I always felt my happiest when I was playing outside and moving around. This passion for playing and moving guided me into a degree from the University of Winnipeg in Kinesiology.

Your Administrative Team

I worked at a hospital in Orange County, CA for 21 years scheduling radiology procedures along with transcribing those procedure reports. My last three years with the hospital, I was asked to help organize a breast and ovarian cancer prevention program. This was the most rewarding position I held in my 21 years of healthcare. Working one-on-one with the patients to help guide them through their new lifestyle cancer prevention journey became my passion.
