This Is A Quick And Easy Smoothie That Contains Powerful Nutrition
This smoothie is a great “go to” for times when your digestion is just not at its best and you need to get in some powerful nutrition. It provides ample nutrition to be a meal replacement without being overly thick.
If you are trying to regain some weight this recipe can also be enjoyed throughout the day between meals since it is not overly filling. The recipe is great for when you are traveling because Macadamia nuts and Brazil nuts do not need to be soaked.
A Quick And Easy Smoothie – Ingredients
6-8 Macadamia nuts
6 Brazil nuts
3 TBS Unsweetened desiccated coconut
1 cup water (Add more if you prefer a thinner texture)
1-2 handfuls of spinach
1 scoop vega chocolate
1 Tablespoon raw almond butter
Optional: a handful of ice.
Instructions: Add all ingredients to a high power blender and blend until smooth.
Note: if you do not have a high speed blender such as a Blendtec or a Vitamix the smoothie may still have some of the nuts pieces left unprocessed. You can also soak the nuts for a few hours so that they are more easily processed by a less powerful blender.
