Prepare For Your Visit
Your First Visit
Our Patient Services Department will be in regular contact with you as you prepare for your visit to An Oasis of Healing. We are available to answer all your questions, make your travel & lodging arrangement and provide you with an overview of what to anticipate your first day and thereafter.
The first step in the process of becoming a patient is to schedule your initial consultation appointment with Dr. Lodi.
To ensure that your experience at our center is as efficient as possible, we have outlined a few steps to aid in that process.
Below is a list of required documents we need on file before your first visit.
- Medical History Form
Please note: Due to our patient privacy policy, the Medical History Form does not allow for any information entered to be saved. Be sure to print your completed form before closing out of the window.
- Copy of your medical records (last 12 months)
- Pathology reports from biopsies & surgeries
- Imaging studies i.e.: CAT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, PET scan, PET/Ct (last 12 months or from the time when you were first diagnosed)
- Most recent laboratory test results (blood work)
Once you have completed the Medical History Form and gathered the other items mentioned above, email or fax them to our Patient Care Services department.
Please confirm that we have received all documents needed before you arrive for your initial consultation appointment.
Below is a list of items we would like you to bring with you to your initial consultation appointment. (You can also provide this information with the required documents if that is more convenient for you.)
- A detailed list of all medications with the dosages you are currently taking.
- A detailed list of all nutritional supplements with the dosages you are currently taking.
You will need to plan to spend the entire day at the center on the day of your initial consultation appointment. For patients traveling from out of town, the initial appointment can be scheduled at the beginning of your Comprehensive Cancer Care Program. The initial office visit with Dr. Lodi will take approximately two-three hours which will include:
- Taking a thorough medical history
- A comprehensive evaluation of your medical condition
- In depth discussion of what is required to restore your health.
- The discussion of possible healing therapy options
At the end of your office visit, Dr. Lodi will write the orders for your individualized healing program. During this time you will tour our healing center, meet our staff, learn more about the therapies we utilize and enjoy a delicious healthy meal.
Once Dr. Lodi completes your orders, our patient care coordinator will meet with you to review the plan and cost involved. If desired, you can start your healing program the following day.
Billing Policy
We will provide you with an invoice at the time services are rendered. Payment can be made by cash, check, money orders, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
We will give you the name and phone number of independent billing agents who may be able to help you file your medical expenses from our office with your insurance carrier and recoup some of your expenses. However, our Doctors do not participate in any Medicare or Medicaid programs. Therefore, claims will not be accepted by Medicare or any secondary insurance companies that require denials from Medicare first.
Patient Consideration
In considerations of all patients please do not wear any perfume, colognes, scented lotions or other strongly odiferous toiletries.
